General Report | ||
Conducted offensive sweep. Assigned to White flight with Fg O Richards commanding. Witnessed serverl several flights comprising of both 109's and 190's engaging a flight of B-25's. We engaged the hun. Engaged one Bf-109 and gave a short yet effective squirt. (Probable). Shortly thereafter I engaged a Fw-190 bringing him down which was confirmed by Fg O Richards. Though we bloodied the hun and took no losses due to enemy fire, yellow flight was KIA due to a midair collision. | ||
