Flying as ‘red’ 2 with F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards leading and F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe conducting a sweep over allied forces below. We quickly encountered a flight of 3 109’s. F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe and I pursued and tried to approach from their low six. We were spotted and a quick fight ensued. After my first pass through jerry, a 109 found himself on my sic which I quickly remedied with a hard break. In my turn I saw F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe give a steady stream of fire into a 109 which then saw F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards give a blast of fire as well; he went down. I continued on and had a close call with a 109 which damaged my rudder heavily. I returned to base with F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards and F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe diligently flying in cover of my damaged craft. | ||
